• Battle of Peach Tree Creek - July 20, 1864
  This battle was fought throughout the area from Collier at Peachtree through Collier at Howell Mill.  This link contains a brief write-up of the presentation given by Robert Jenkins on July 17, 2009 regarding the battle.  There are numerous historic monuments around the neighborhood discussing details of the fighting.  Mr. Jenkins is publishing a book on the battle due out in 2011.  It will likely be very interesting.
  
  
• Secure Access to Sensitive Neighborhood Information
  Secure access to such things as neighborhood directories, security information and the like is in the works.  The site is restricted to Ardmore Park residents and property owners.  We will be using Yahoo Groups to handle this since it's much easier to manage!  You will need to set up an account with Yahoo to do this - don't worry, it's free, easy.   You should have received an email inviting you to join the group.  If you have not received one, please let the webmaster know and an invite will be sent webmaster@ardmorepark.org
  
  

• Beltline 101
  If you are wondering what all the clamor about the 'Beltline' thing is, and really feel that you might have been left out in knowing what it is... The Beltline Partnership provides a 1 hour course called 'Beltline 101' monthly.  The session contains an overview of the Beltline, information on current progress, and a forum for questions.  Everyone is invited.
